I'm back!

This is Roger.

You must've thought I'd been taken in by the zombies I was gone so long.

Well I nearly was. I came across a group of people who appeared to be normal human beings. However weren't. It turned out that they were zombies, extremely inteligent zombies. They could sense there was something different about me.

I had to lay low for a while and try to blend in as best I could. It was tough, all I could do was wait for them to become more zombie-like and loose their inteligence. It turns out my previous research was extremely beneficial.

So now I have managed to escape.

It appears the zombie disease is growing more and more every day. It is becoming very dangerous for me to be out there observing and reporting, so I had a meeting with the rest of the team and we agreed that I should not go back right away. I shall wait for the situation to calm down a bit (if it ever does) and then return to my post.

I'M ALIVE!!

This is Roger.

I couldn't update you yesterday, I was surounded by what I believe to be intelligent zombies. I hope you hadn't given up hope and thought I'd become one of them. I am fine, no nibbles in sight.

I have discovered my original thoughts that zombies became intelligent were wrong. I saw with my own eyes an unfortunate victim get taken in by the zombies. After the transformation they appeared more intelligent than all the others. However, as day turned to night I noticed they got a bit slower and started following others around. The zombies I'd spotted the day before looked like the first set I'd come across who were slow and didn't really acknowledge what was going on around them.

In other words, I now believe that zombies start out intelligent and independant, however as time goes on they gradually loose their intelligence and start to stick with the status quo.

It is a meaningless and unfullfilling lifestyle so stay safe everyone.

Do not risk becoming one of them.

Intelligent zombies?

This is Roger.

I have just discovered a new set of zombies on the other side of town. They appear to be more intelligent than the others I was blending in with before.

I'm heading in to investigate, I will report back as soon as I can. I hope this lot don't find me out. If I don't report back in the next 24 hours I have been discovered.

Initial report from behind enemy lines

This is Roger.

I shal begin with an introduction. I am NOT a zombie, however I have disguised myself to blend in with the zombie. So far I have not been detected.

I cannot tell you my exact location as I cannot risk you eager zombie hunters rushing in unprepared.

So what happened today?

Well the numbers are growing stronger everyday, I see it all around me, new ones appear here and there, mingling amongst the existing ones.

My observasions are this:-

They do not seem to interact with each other at this point. However I have a feeling they are evolving, becoming stronger and greater in numbers every week.

Right now it is OK to sneak off to write this as they don't seem to acknowledge their surroundings. I'm not sure how easy it will be for me to update you in the future, as I say I believe they are evolving and may soon become more intelligent.
